## Overview Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Structural Steel Calculation Engineer to join its team in Casablanca. This is a permanent contract (CDI) position requiring 3 to 5 years of experience in the field, with the possibility of hybrid work (partially remote). You will be responsible for design studies, calculation, and verification of metal structures in accordance with applicable standards.

## Advertised Positions - **Structural Steel Calculation Engineer** (1 position): - **Location**: Casablanca - **Contract Type**: Permanent contract (CDI) - **Work System**: Hybrid (partially remote) - **Key Responsibilities**: - Carrying out design studies, preliminary dimensioning, and sizing of metal structures (e.g., steel structures and pipe supports). - Performing calculations for metal structures during the execution phase. - Performing calculations for pipe supports, cable tray supports, and HVAC duct supports, taking into account transmitted forces. - Performing calculations for the anchoring of metal structures (plates/supports). - Applying applicable calculation references and standards, especially Eurocodes 2, 3, and 8, and project requirements. - Preparing hypothesis notes, calculation notes, and supporting documents. - Analyzing the consistency of input data, identifying open technical points, and alerting to potential impacts on design, manufacturing, or installation. - Proposing robust technical solutions while integrating site, manufacturing, installation constraints, and interfaces with piping, HVAC, electrical, general installation, and civil engineering disciplines. - Providing technical support to designers/drafters and contributing to the review of plans, calculation notes, and related deliverables.

## Application Requirements - **Educational Level**: Engineer's diploma or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Calculation, or an equivalent specialization (Bac +3 years minimum). - **Experience**: Significant professional experience in structural calculation, preferably in industrial or energy sectors (3 to 5 years). - **Technical Knowledge**: - Strong knowledge of metal structures and structural mechanics. - Proficiency in Eurocodes 2, 3, and 8, and RDM (Resistance of Materials). - Good knowledge of codes and calculation methods applicable to metal structures. - Proficiency in at least one structural calculation software such as Robot Structural Analysis, Advance Design, or RSTAB. - Comprehensive knowledge of civil engineering. - **Soft Skills**: - Curiosity, adherence to rules, rationality, perseverance, need for autonomy, commitment to work, ambition, organization. - **Computer Skills**: Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
