## Overview The Royal Society for the Encouragement of Horses (SOREC) announces a job opportunity for the position of **Totalisator Management Officer** in Rabat. This role aims to ensure the effective operation of the betting system through coordination with the Customer Hub and the Technology and Information Systems Directorate. The position requires 2 to 5 years of experience and a Bac +2/3 diploma in Management, IT, or equivalent.

## Organizing Entity The **Royal Society for the Encouragement of Horses (SOREC)** was established in 2003 under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries. Its main missions include framing horse breeding, developing horse racing, and managing horse racing betting games in Morocco. SOREC ensures the supervision of companies specialized in horses, supports breeding programs as a partner for breeders' associations, and works to improve national horse racing infrastructures. SOREC covers the entire country with five horse breeding centers, 43 insemination stations, and 11 centers for promoting horse breeding, in addition to numerous collaborations with major horse associations in the Kingdom.

## Main Responsibilities of the Position The Totalisator Management Officer, reporting to the Operations Directorate, undertakes the following tasks:

**System Setup and Support**: - Perform basic GAMMA betting system configurations according to operational guidelines. - Test and validate new hardware or system versions before deployment. - Execute provided test scenarios and report results to relevant teams. - Manage and monitor new updates in production after testing.

**Coordination and Communication Support**: - Provide support to operational teams in using the betting system. - Process incidents/failures and report them to the support team when necessary. - Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Hub, Technology and Information Systems Directorate) for effective follow-up of requests. - Update monitoring indicators and participate in report drafting.

**Training and Technical Support**: - Accompany new users in system usage. - Share usage instructions with teams. - Provide support in case of a technical problem during races or events. - Propose solutions to avoid recurrence of incidents/failures. - Manage critical operations: block injection, version management, and permissions. - Inform teams about new features and communicate incident reports. - Contribute to interventions during crisis periods.
